We developed this design for a client in Crows Nest as a freestanding pavilion attached to the existing dwelling via a glazed link.
Whale Beach Siteworks – October 2014
Work continues on site at Whale Beach with some finishes starting to be installed and the substantial landscaping now underway.
Russell Street Siteworks – September 2014
Murray is finishing installing ceiling panels to a small project of ours in Lilyfield. The panels are timber veneered sheets of Japanese Sen. I think the architect might have been cursed once or twice during the install. They look good though.
Houses Magazine Awards Commendation – August 2014
We are very excited to have received a Commendation from Houses Awards 2014. Our project at Blandford Avenue in Bronte is one of just two houses to be commended in the “house in a heritage context” category.
Whale Beach Siteworks – July 2014
With the bottom three levels structurally complete at it’s time for the fun part. The steel framing forming the top level living areas is on site and being erected. Plenty of views which should all sit well below the extended cantilevered eaves.
Evans Street DA Approval – July 2014
We are very pleased this week to have received DA approval from Waverley Council for a project for 2 houses in Bronte. We are now underway with construction drawings and hope to be on site towards the end of the year.
Sydney Road Siteworks – June 2014
Work has started at a project for alteration and additions at Sydney Road in Seaforth, Demolition is complete and pool excavation underway.
Russell Street Siteworks – May 2014
Murray has been working hard and May has seen good progress on site this small project in Lilyfield. Hopefully we’ll have Andy and Lisa back in their home in August.
Gibson Street Siteworks – April 2014
Doors and windows are installed and the gyprockers have been through at Gibson Street, we’re entering the finishing phase of this Bronte project.
Houses Magazine Awards Shortlist – March 2014
We’re very honoured to have been shortlisted amongst some fantastic entries in the prestigious Houses magazine house of the year awards for 2014. Our Blandford project has been shortlisted in two categories, “alterations and additions over 200sq.m.” and “house in a heritage context”.

Occupation at Rosebridge – March 2014
It’s not quite finished but our clients have moved in to one of our designs in Castle Cove, so that’s worth a glass of champagne. The builder and clients have done a fantastic job with the challenging design on what is an exciting project. Stay busy Andy!
Congratulations Poppi – March 2014
Great fun to have a wedding in the office. It was a beautiful day up in the Blue Mountains and Poppi looked amazing in the coolest wedding dress ever. Unfortunately the sparkly heels are hard to spot in the photo. Congratulations Poppi and Ian and thanks for having us all

Whale Beach Siteworks – February 2014
Works have progressed at our Whale Beach site with basement and ground floor walls now complete and formwork in place for first floor structure. The views once we get up to the rooftop pool are promising to be spectacular.
Poppi Denison Architect – December 2013
We would like to congratulate Poppi Denison on her successful qualification as an Architect. This is a milestone achievement in any Architect’s career, requiring demonstrated experience across all aspects of project design, development, documentation and contract administration, as well as passing a written exam and interview with the NSW Architects Registration Board. We will continue to put this experience to great use on the projects Poppi is leading. Congratulations!
Fred Street Siteworks – November 2013
A small project of ours in Lewisham is progressing on site with framing now complete.
Gibson Street DA Approval – August 2013
Waverley council have approved our application for alterations and additions at Gibson Street, Bronte. As we only started the project in March it has moved at a good pace. With work on site due to commence shortly the whole project will likely be completed within a year of initial concept designs.
Whale Beach Siteworks – July 2013
Yuncken Construction are well underway with excavation for our project for a large new dwelling at Whale Beach. With a 50% slope on the site each of the levels need to be excavated and shored before excavating the level below. Excavation is scheduled to be completed by the end of July 2013, at which point construction work on the new dwelling can begin, with completion due for December 2014.
