We’ve had a makeover thanks to zé studio. Nick Bell Architects have a new domain and our friend Joe has developed a new identity to present our new name. Our new signage and stationary feature sectional ground lines from sites of our projects which are then individually applied to give a variety of expression. We’d like to thank Joe for all his hard work and creativity in putting together our new look.
We're pleased to have just secured approval via Complying Development for this new project in Northwood. The design utilises a central courtyard with swimming pool to fill the interiors with northern sunlight.
We've just received approval for this new dwelling in Clovelly from Randwick Council. Set on a narrow block we have developed a design that makes heroes of 3 large skylights through the dwelling to provide drama and light-filled interiors.
Our Recycle house was published in Sanctuary Magazine's latest issue which focuses on modern green homes. They conclude: "This project surpassed the couple's expectations of what they might be able to achieve in a renovation: the house is now spacious without being ostentatious; it offers year-round comfort but uses very little energy; and their efforts to reuse materials paid off handsomely, to reduce construction waste and the need for new building products."
A new project for alterations and additions to a home in Leichhardt. The design seeks to bring new life to an existing structure and roof form in a creative way.
Preparing to receive concrete on site. This new off form concrete addition to a free standing dwelling in Bellevue Hill promises some stunning harbour views.
We have submitted a DA for this development which consists of a subdivision of the lot with a new free standing dwelling facing Beattie Street.
Our clients are ready to move in to their new home on time thanks to an immaculately run project from PMD Build. With just the landscaping to complete this one is nearly finished.
Following certification of our Newtown apartments it is now ready for the purchasers to move in. The project consists of 13 apartments and three ground floor commercial units. The site, on Newtown's King Street, is within a conservation area so we drew our influence from the many corner pubs that occupy similar corner sites in the area.
Poppi and Denisse have been to a project of ours in Castle Cove to get some photography of the completed work. Many thanks to Simon Whitbread for the resulting images and also to Blu Dot and Kezu for lending us some of their furniture items for the shoot. Full feature project for our website to follow shortly.
We are very pleased to have our Surf Road house at Whale Beach featured on Archdaily. Archdaily is one of the worlds leading websites for providing architectural news and project features. View more here
We are currently finalising this design for a development of two new semi-detached dwellings for submission to Randwick Council.
With steel curved in two directions this installation in Vaucluse was a challenge for Jakin construction. However careful planning and co-ordination between architect, builder, fabricator and engineer meant the frame was erected in less than a day – with no site cuts required.
This is one of the smallest projects we have completed recently but we had a lot of fun remodeling this suburban facade and providing our client with a new karate studio. Great attention to detail from MJH building. Simon Whitbread has got us some great shots and well done to project architect and stylist on the day Denisse.
This project for redevelopment of a house in Sydney’s inner west is on a corner site in a conservation area. The design combines a modern addition with traditional form to satisfy council streetscape controls. With framing going up PMD Build are running ahead of schedule.
Following completion of this Bronte project Simon Whitbread has been on site taking some photographs for us. Denisse had a busy afternoon and did a great job styling, with thanks to Cult furniture for lending us a couple of extra furniture pieces on the day.
We have got some great photographs back taken by Simon Whitbread from our recent shoot of our Whale Beach house.
Both our houses at Evans Street, Bronte have now reached the stage that our clients are able to move in. There’s still a few finishing touches but PMD Build have done a great job, as have Poppi, Paulo and Denisse in the office who all worked on the project.
With the scaffolding now down our mixed use Newtown development is visible in to the King Street landscape.
